Meet Pastor Adam

Though he self proclaims himself to be the “West Coast Bible Teacher”, Adam was born and raised on the East Coast, before moving to California in 2009. Ever since he was in middle school, Adam felt the call of ministry upon his life, and this sense of calling stayed with him all throughout high school. However he had no idea how or when God would lead him into pastoral ministry.

The first four years of his life post High School (his “young adult” years if you will), were filled with pain and trial, or as Pastor Adam calls it, “the refiners fire” (Zech 13:9). His faith was tested in ways he would not have ever imagined; in hindsight he sees it as both spiritual attack that was trying to thwart him from ministry, and also God’s way of humbling him and teaching him to put Him first above all else in this life.

God helped him through the tough times, and at age 23, Adam entered graduate school to pursue a Master of Divinity. During his seminary schooling, Pastor Adam completely fell in love with the world of biblical exposition, exegesis, and hermeneutics. The tools he learned in school, helped him to better understand the more debated and difficult sections and topics of Scripture, which in turn gave him the ability to apply such learnings in his own Christian walk. He currently serves as an associate pastor at Riverview Evangelical Free Church in North San Diego County.

Expository teaching through the Scriptures is Pastor Adam’s passion, and he is here to share the rich insights he has learned when studying the Scriptures with you. On this website will find both video teachings of the Monday night Bible study he teaches as his church, and blog articles that cover various theological topics and biblical passages.

Pastor Adam is a current PhD student specializing in Bible Exposition through Liberty University’s Rawling’s School of Divinity. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Horizon University (Indianapolis, IN), and a Master’s Of Divinity from Liberty University’s Rawling’s School of Divinity (Lynchburg, VA). In addition to this, Adam has spent countless hours studying the Bible from front to back.
